Niamh McGowan is a physiotherapist with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and treating people of all ages.
She has developed an interest in working with Joint Hypermobility patients as well as undertaking the Schroth method for scoliosis management.
She has a keen interest in the nervous system both in the physical as well as how it emotionally impacts the person. Focused on pre-habilitation and strength and conditioning to ensure the person and the athlete avoids unnecessary injury and performs to the best of their ability.
Niamh is highly interested in research and evidence based practice. Focused and motivated to ensure that her skills are up-to-date and continually improving for the benefit of the patient. Firm believer in patient centred care.

A referral from a medical profession is required to book an appointment with Mr. Kiely. This can be sent to the Scoliosis Academy or to his secretary in Sports Surgery Clinic.

Mr. Patrick Kiely is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist in paediatric orthopaedics.
Mr. Kiely’s consultation and work is mainly with paediatric and adolescents through orthopaedic surgery with a strong focus on clinical, educational and research on spinal pathologies and paediatric sports injury.
He has worked as a consultant spinal surgeon in Nottingham, UK, and as a senior lecturer in the University of Sydney, after which he followed his passion in paediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. Since then he has gone on to work as a speciality orthopaedic surgeon at University teaching hospitals including the National Children’s Hospital and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
